My Story
For twenty years, I lived the corporate life. Long hours, constant travel, hotels, restaurants, and the kind of relentless pace that leaves little room for anything else. Health was always something I'd get to later.
Until later finally arrived.
In my mid-40s I decided enough was enough. I lost weight, got strong, and rebuilt my fitness from the ground up. But it wasn't a straight line. I know what it's like to walk into a gym and follow a generic program that wasn't built for a body with a history and to end up injured, frustrated, and wondering if it was worth it. It was those false starts that showed me something was missing.
I looked around and saw a real gap: quality fitness coaching, delivered by people who actually understand what it means to be in your 40s and beyond. Not just theoretically but because they've lived it.
So I went back to basics. I completed my Certificate III and IV in Fitness and became a qualified Personal Trainer and I combined that formal foundation with everything I'd learned the hard way.
Good technique matters. The right training protocols matter. And so does working with a coach who gets where you're at, because they've been there too.
In addition to my Certificate III and IV in Fitness, I have an undergraduate degree of Architecture, a masters degree of Town and Regional Planning and a post graduate diploma of Law, all that preceded by stint at art school.
