Life in Strength is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect: We may collect your name, contact details, health information, and fitness goals when you enquire, book, or train with us.
How we use it: Your information is used solely to deliver our services, communicate with you, and improve your training experience. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
Health information: Any health or medical information you provide is treated as sensitive information and handled with the highest level of care. It is used only to tailor your training safely.
Storage: Your information is stored securely. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting us directly.
Health & Medical Disclaimer
Personal training involves physical activity that carries inherent risk. Before commencing any program with Life in Strength, clients are required to complete a pre-exercise screening questionnaire in accordance with the guidelines of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
You are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or medications that may affect your ability to exercise safely. We strongly recommend you consult your GP or a medical professional before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you have known health conditions.
Life in Strength coaches are qualified personal trainers, not medical practitioners. Nothing on this website or in our programs constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law — including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and applicable NSW consumer protection legislation — Life in Strength excludes all liability for:
- Injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in personal training sessions or use of information on this website
- Any indirect, consequential, or economic loss
Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including under Australian Consumer Law), our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude rights you hold as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Terms of Service
By engaging Life in Strength for personal training services, you agree that:
- You have disclosed all relevant health and medical information
- You will follow reasonable safety instructions provided by your coach
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited or charged in full
- Payment terms are as agreed at the time of booking
Full service terms will be provided at the point of engagement.
